Good job, but i got a question, why do you have a diffrent line where it would be "My birthmothe lives in Kansas MO?" But then again i'm a nit picker. Good job once again.
woah woah woah, these aren't the correct lyrics. i saw the play, and have the origanal cast sound track that comes with words. those aren't the right words and sometimes the dads were singing logans part. shame on you.
This is the orginal music and lyrics from when Spelling Bee was off-broadway, before it got changed for when it was moved to its broadway spot and revised a bit. Do your research before you put shame on anyone.
Yes, but I said these are NOT the current broadway lyrics. I got this music from my school library which had both the script of the broadway show and the original script which William Finn also wrote for when the show was running off-broadway. It's the same song with slightly different lyrics that were written by the same person who wrote the new lyrics. Little help anyone? did I explain that badly??
i LOVE the way he cuts you off!

My community theater is doing this show next year, and I'm seriously thinking of trying out with this song. I want either Olive or Logainne.

I looked everywhere for the script. I can't find it. I like the off bway version. But you should have gone with the broadway one.

Awesomeee job! =] And for people asking about scripts and stuff... she goes to freakin AMDA. They have everything. haha.
There was an off-broadway script and a revised broadway one. The broadway one is the cd version.

They have the scripts to everything I have no idea how they get them, sorry :). You could try just contacting someone at the show though.

there isn't a recording of when it was Off-Broadway. My school has the actual scripts from the shows, I promise you they aren't wrong.

@seeemilysing Dude. I give you kudos to pulling all of that off! It was AMAZING! :)
Oh, yes, That is indeed the Off Broadway Version. The last verse, I saw it on an illegal filming to the 2005 Off Broadway OBC cast.
