What does the Spotting Scope exactly do?

@TheOkanKid The spotting scope automatically marks targets when your scope is close to them. It basically automatically hits the BACK button (xbox) or the SELECT button (Ps3). It's not very useful when u can use the magnum attachment instead

Can you drop someone with 1 bullet non headshot in hardcore mode with magnum ammunition? I have the game and I love to snipe, but don't hae magnum ammo. I been snipin on every first person shooter I have ever owned:Cod4, MW2, and now bc2. What you play on? I'm on PS3, gamertag YaoChow and no I'm not chiness. The nickname is a basketball thing that I got growing up hoopin and playing football. You like to snipe, add me. I don't care who you are. :)

@YaoChow Yes, you can drop people with one bullet WITHOUT magnum ammo on hardcore, sometimes it takes two but magnum ammo is a definite one shot kill. Ill add you up shortly

@YaoChow in hardcoremode everyone's got only 50 instead of 100 health points. every single shot sniper rifle like m95 or m24 r dealing a minimum amount of 50dmg if randomly hitting someone.

All these sniper montages disappoint me as I see none of them use the circular movement technique. Basically you move around in circles as you aim/crouch and only stay still for a split second when you shoot. This makes it tremendously harder for the enemy to get you.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the greatest First Person Shooter in the last five years. It is much better than each and every other online game. If you haven't already done so, you will want to dl it from BFBC2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ). Me and my friends did it and it operates very good.

Its more team based with many vehicles and objectives.

What's better? The M95 or the M24?

@TheFalconryFan The GOL Magnum :) hahah. I recommend the M95 over the M24 on non-hardcore matches because of the sheer power of it. Using the m24 with magnum ammo makes it a pretty close match though. If you use the GOL with magnum ammo it is virtually unstoppable as it has the highest accuracy and better rate of fire.

@iwannashootem, please tell me how you level up so fast. I have been playing for about a week and been using Assault Kit mostly dis-arming all bombs, and helping team mates, getting a good k/d ratio but I'm still stuck at level 11.

@TheFalconryFan I am about level 26 now after a week of playing (and I only rent it).

I started playing only really using the recon class, you can get around 150+ points PER KILL if you get a MARKSMAN HEADSHOT from LONG DISTANCE with a SNIPER RIFLE. Use motion mines for assists and constantly use mortar strikes or C4 on tanks (very useful). Medic is also very useful for ranking up, mainly reviving people but that's obvious. If you play Xbox I could help you out.

@iwannashootem, I quit Sniping after I got the M95. I agree the Medic Kit is doing very great. I started using the Medic Kit a lot today and raised me 2 ranks.

well yes it was the first day I bought it, on the release date. I intend for there to be more but it takes a while to gather good content and edit.
