Mr. sean. ive been watching your fischer videos for quite a while... im only a chess beginner and i always lose to the e4 opening, could you suggest a good e4 defence line which i could experiment with. and by the way, what engine could you suggest, that i could use for my training?
It is cool that you talk a bit about former Yugoslavia, i guess it has lots of similarities with Ireland with its religious wars, foreign rulership, fighting other people's wars and the likes...
Hi buddy - I may do a series on the sicilian in the future but for now I am sticking with Bobby Fischer, and after this endgames I think. In the meantime there is lots of stuff out there if you want to learn about it, I suggest Wikipedia to get things going!
Yes I guess Yugoslavia and Ireland did have some similarities in the past. Thankfully these days it is mostly talks as opposed to bombs.
No, no, you got me wrong. Fischer is all right, but I'm saying to follow up his games, with similar games but weaker players so we can understand better.
And yes i do study, but I am only meager 1500-1600, how can i understand 2700?
If you read books written by GM's, you will be able to understand 2700 because they explain everything. I recommend getting some books! Also an engine is great for training and raising your rating. All the best,
One of the problems when studying is that the mind always wanders, and we try to do many things in the same time, little bit here a bit there and learn nothing.
Could you maybe talk a bit more about the Sicilian and the dragon or Yugoslav attack (saw it few times played on line). Can you talk about some main ideas some more please? I play a lot with at least equal or stronger opponents and would like to how to say to know what is happening...
Ok that's the end of part 1 lol
