What did this match prove? If they wanted to see if Rafa is better on clay than Federer is on grass then they shouldn't switch sides. It makes no sense any other way.

This whole setup makes absolutely no sense. Roger and Rafa have distinct advantages on their respective surfaces due to specific characteristics of the ball bounce, speed and their movements on each surface. As in they would need both sides of the court to make the best of what the surface has to offer. This hybrid court idea is ass-backwards.

this is too nadals advantage in every way, if he's playing on the clay side he has more time so he can take a good cut at the ball and defend better, if he hits from the grass side the ball will kick high because of the crazy spin nadal puts on the ball.

@poroporoa Agree with ya poroporoa but I'll rephrase. I think he has the best forehand of all time. So deep, penetrating, and the spin is just not fair. The scary thing is he can flatten it out, too, giving it the impression that it's even heavier. This video showed something. Nadal was soon to be the king of both clay AND grass, or, how about the king of tennis?

I recently bought his raquet and I can't even come close to the spin he gives the ball although I do try, The only thing he lacks in is the ability to play offense on a hard court or carpet court but he still wins some.

@poroporoa Man I think he plays offensive when he has to. When he gets chances to pounce on shorter balls, he hits them with authority. You can obviously tell that hardcourts are not his favourite surface, but he has not lost a set so far. I don't think any guy in the open era has ever won the US Open without dropping a set, I could be wrong. He's becoming an amazing player on all surfaces.
