  • Dang!! you hit the Mormons! That's ok though.

  • sidechaining in reason...very useful . thanks....however can i , or how can i sidechain my bassline with a DrRex drum. I realize my bassline is affected by the lot of freq of that drum. Can i split the frequencies and sidechain em after or other ways? Can anyone help me out?

  • did anyone else take their mouse cursor and tried to copy his moves

  • is the mormon religion that complicated????

  • @itsRawqit It's not that it's complication, it's just that the way it began is pretty messed up. I don't know the full story, I suggest checking the interwebs, they're there for a reason.

  • 1 Person must have been mormon....

  • I have a track with a sustained bass and have sidechained the sub element with fast attack and release; however I have pumping on the sub which when I master becomes to my ears quite anoying. Do you have any tips as to how to lessen this pumping action? Thanks in advance.

  • Serious props on the mormon references. I used to be one and I couldn't agree more!

  • Should you not be using a subtractor as it is mono and all sub bases should be mono as for the waves in the sub freq clashing if its stereo, also should you not low cut everything apart from the sub bass, i've seen you low cutting with the stereo imigar is this a more effective way? also great tutorial i just wanted to clear those things up, you deserve that white choc cookie :)

  • lmfao i love this guy

  • that whole part between 0:50 and 1:07 was exactly what GLaDOS would say...

  • yo

  • these tutorials are freakin awesome

  • "Epic bass"... Damn yeah!!!

  • 0:01

  • I would like a Drum&Froyd tutorial

  • id like to hear some drumnfreud now

  • Later, guys *clicks play* *eargasm*

  • I think I hear birds chirping in the background.

  • Please ... what do u press to remove all cables ?

  • @mrachniot L

  • @mrachniot shift while you create something, not sure how or if u can after uve made them. if thats what u wanna do just save the patch, close it the shift open and load up the patch again

  • I dont think you have speaker wth bass, cause your low end, is distorted completely

  • I was going to send you a bunch of cocoa chocolate chips as thanks... but now i realize i cant do that..

  • ok i was doing GREAT till the sidechaining happens. somehow my linking is wrong and now the bass is side chained to ALL the drums (except congos) HELP RLY PLZ! :'( im sure there must be some quick way to do it instead of starting from scrath with the combinators? thanks!

  • @All ok problem solved :P i created all the lanes in Redrum 1 part instead of Beat.. silly silly me x9

  • im english and ive never met anyone that sounds quite like you, such a concise accent, everything pronounced so precisely

  • @redge89 i didnt even think it was english it was that perfect lol, best guy on the planet to do tutorials.

  • I love your tutorial!!!

  • is there a way to download all these videos onto my computer so i don't need to come on youtube to watch them?? i find myself going back and forth as reminders for my own work anyone??? thanks

  • I think, you can make better quality basses with vst synths

  • hahaha, nice job bringing us all closer together with your distaste of regular chocolate. Great work as always

  • LOL your funny dude !

  • i trust you

  • Neurofunk is kind of like Drum & Jung.... XD

  • damn, first when i've started to watch this vid i thought its going to be another honky tonky, but this shit is more phat than mcdonalds kids. fukin A!

  • that bass sounds just like a dirty tampon...

  • @daleiloveqian tampons....sound?

  • @LRMANIA

Maybe he thought the sounds of his mom's bitching were coming from the tampon.

  • nope, still sound like a computer generated English narrator ...

lol JK JK, i appreciate all your tuts. ALWAYS SOLID !

  • Good tutorial, but it doesn't sound like noisia at all. You should delete their name out of the title of part 1, otherwise their fanboys will tear you apart. ;)

    Keep it up

  • You can set all your synths to open as initialized in the options menu. I've always wondered why you're always initializing the patches.

  • @IareDewey Thanks for the advice, but I know - unfortunately not everyone else does, meaning I'd have to explain that entire process in each tutorial, which takes longer than a simple "Right click - initialize" :)

  • @IareDewey hence it being a tutorial...

  • @IareDewey good to know :)

  • @IareDewey cant find it, where abouts?

  • @RollAnotherJ

In Reason 5 it's Edit > Preferences > Uncheck "Load Default Sound in New Devices"

    I think it's a bit different in Reason 4.

  • @IareDewey thanks man, ive just got reason 5 so ill give it a go when its setup :)

  • It's HEAVY!!! >=D
