  • what a tube! end of discussion

  • thanks for postin. after all these decades i still dig surf music.

  • Hey how 'bout posting "Shootin' Beavers"?

Sometime back in the early to mid 1980's at the height of my record-collecting mania, I found the record (Aertaun 103) in a thrift shop. Unfortunately it wasn't in very good shape. Been wishing I could hear that song in un-scratchy form ever since....

  • Pulp Fiction, Motherfuckers!

  • ROYALE WITH CHEESE

  • wise up yanks. go to england or ireland and its still quarter pounders

  • i could listen to this all day...

    i wish i could surf

  • the tornados and the tornadoes are the SAME group. Only for the US they where called the tornadoes. ..

  • @bennyvx08 I think you're wrong; The Tornados was a famous instrumental band that recorded a very famous instrumental track (among others) called Telstar, and definitely they weren't The Tornadoes

  • you know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in france?

  • a Royale with cheese

  • and do you know why they call it that?

  • because of the metric system?

  • check out the big brain on brad!! that's right, you're one smart motherfucker

  • Whats in that cup?

  • @homerrulezzzz say what again! i dare you i double dare you motha fucka say what.... 1 more goddamn time! .......

  • what

  • they wouldn't know what the fuck a quarter pounder is

  • They dont call it a quarter pounder with cheese?

  • @icydog royal'e with cheese

  • "Hey, waduya think about Trudi? She ain't got a boyfriend. You wanna hang out, get high?

Which one's Trudi? The one with all the shit in her face?

    no...that's Jody...that's my wife"

  • Good tune, but "Telstar" was still my favorite of theirs. Thought about that one on the 40th anniversary of the moon landing.

  • But that was recorded by the English group of the same name!

  • you're talking about the "tornados." the video on this page is by the "tornadoes" with an "e."

i know, it's a bit confusing when they have such similar names.

  • go go go

  • fuck yeah surfing grandpas rule!!!!! this is a nice tune peace!!!!

  • "You know what some punk did the other day? Key'd it...ohh man...I had it in storage for 6 weeks, and some dickless piece of shit key'd it!"

  • @Elman247 quote of the decade

  • This music was of pulp fiction. What a great movie :)

  • they both were.

  • Simply the best.

  • You guys are my hero's Thanx for all the great music over the years .. Johnny Kahuna

  • What type of guitar was the lead played on?

  • Fender Stratocaster

  • "This is Choco...an this is Bava, different, but good" asd

  • greasyfairlane....i was just kidding! I love that song and i'm sure they know how it goes without a chart!! Sorry if i offended you...but thanks for the review of our music!! ("cheap '80s sounding "surf". Ever heard of reverb? Try turning it past 1") that's classic!!

  • It just bothers me when people that are really good at something, put people that aren't so good or just starting out, down. Now if they are talking smack then by all means slam 'em. But that could've been some 13 year old kid just picking up the guitar for the first time. P.S. yes I suck at the guitar, but I try.

  • One of the proudest moments of my life was when Granada High School had chosen "Bustin Surfboards" as their number one for KFWB's weekly top 10 at the LA high schools. This was the fall of 1962. I thought "Bustin' Surfboards" was the "bossest" song ever recorded (except for Dick Dale of course...). This proved the high standards and wisdom the "Granada Crew" became known for in surfing Malibu and Rincon - the two best pointbreaks in California. God bless you all and keep surfing until you drop!!

  • you said "Bossest" roflmao

  • Not every one as is talented as you, some people need help. Now go back to your garage and play your cheap '80s sounding "surf". Ever heard of reverb? Try turning it past 1.

  • well said!

  • I love Surf Rock! The Tornadoes, The Ventures, Dick Dale... The smell of the ocean and surfboard wax, the sound of the waves crashing. Man, now I WANT TO GO SURFING!!!

  • Fabulous! Thanks for posting this!

  • pulp fiction :)

  • i thought it was about torandoes

  • <3.

  • I've been all over the internet trying to find a guitar tab for this song. Can anyone help?

  • i guess its blues scheme o_O

  • I forgot to mention; the video is called Super SeThTa Man!! The Video Game Part 2. Leave a comment!

  • To the Tornadoes: I first heard this song at my dad's house when I was about 15. At that time, I had so many records I used to listen to. Listening to music was all I did for what seemed like years. Now, this is one of the few remaining songs (of not even 10 total) that I still listen to. My friend and I used this song briefly in a video he posted on this YouTube account. Do you mind? Watch it.

  • No need to have many tom toms when you've got such a basic drumming style. A snare, bassdrum and hi-hat would have been far enough!...

  • Awesome song. Sruf music is definately the best music around.

  • The Best Tornadoes song.

  • Really great... If you like this check out the Revels YouTube video of Church Key

  • Thanks for the Revels info.
