@Ledbythelamb Had antibiotics for 10 days after the orig. diagnosis...various symptoms have been popping up lately (including the hand tremor) so I just donated 4 more vials of blood for another round of Lyme Tests. I had not hear that about MS...makes me wonder about my younger Sister who has been treated for the last 10 years for MS.....
@dankwest13 Are you going to test through IgeneX? I tested neg. through two labs (Quest and Labcorp) but my IgeneX test came back CDC +. If you didn't catch the tick bite within the first week or two of being bitten (or less) then 10 days of antibiotics would not have covered it :( Yes, I know MANY including myself who were first told they had MS only to discover later on that it was Lyme Disease. I was also told "Lupus" and "possible ALS" and "fibromyalgia".... Lyme all along!
Have the same thing...diagnosed with Lyme two years ago, never put 2+ 2 together, until I spoke to my sis tonight, she was just diagnosed with Lyme, and has the same shaky hands now....
@dankwest13 Thanks for the comment. Did yours get better with treatment? How long were you treated? Mine is much better...only occasionally. But I have late stage Lyme disease
i helped my mom buy some groceries. carried heavy loads and when im back home, my hand standed to shake heavily while holding a phone. I'm only 16, is that normal?
Well.. not exactly "good" since my Lyme went undiagnosed for so long that it will never be cured.
I thought I had MS too, and so did my neurologist. There is such a thing as Lyme induced MS... and some lyme experts believe that MS actually IS late stage chronic lyme disease.
Thats what my neurologist told me..that I didn't have anything wrong neurologically. Then I found a Lyme specialist and came back CDC positive for Lyme.
me too, I have hand tremors.. its ALWAYS shaking. my doctor said, its not bcos i have some neurological disease thing, but im going back to see doctor this jan 10 2008, if my medicine is working.

@Twitchx89 Nope... chronic Lyme disease.
LedByTheLamb 1 year ago
Nope... found out it's caused by the Lyme disease and co-infections. Now that I've had 18 months of treatment the tremor is gone.

Does yours shake more when warm? But when freezing cold doesnt shake much?
maxbullough 3 years ago
Yes, mine shakes a LOT worse when I am over heated. I was just diagnosed with Lyme Disease.
LedByTheLamb 3 years ago
Hey, Im 15, and my hand seems to shake like that, my left one worse then my right, Could you explain more, thanks
maxbullough 3 years ago
Yeah, I got diagnosed with Lyme disease. You have to get a Western Blot test done (not an ELISA because those almost always come back false negative)
Look up symptoms for Lyme disease and see if you qualify for any of them. My right hand is worse than my left hand..and it isn't all the time.
