THERE IS NO SHIP LIKE THE TITANIC, THE EVENTS, DETAILS, CALIFORNIA SEEING THE ROCKETS NOT COMING TO THEIR RESCUE, ICE BERG, THESE PEOPLE DIED HORRIFICALLY. IMAGINE LOOKING AT YOUR LOVED ONES, YOUR CHILDREN & REALIZING THEIR FATE.
Yah right you people know all about safety. Have you ever tried to sail on a big ship?how would you know better than those people actually experience the tragedy?. Dont act that you are more genuis than those people. Its only early 1900 when it happened, because of the titanic tragedy wheve learned all the safety that you people talking about now
The "Hmhs Britannic" was the Titanic's sister ship. Guess what happened to her? She sunk twice as fast. I think it'd be a great idea to name a ship "Titanic II", and have it set sail on April 10th 2012, just in time for the 100th anniversary of the ship!
This ship was one huge piece of machinery to operate. And it is hard to find who was to blame because Captain Smith ignored the ice warnings and part of which was to blame on Jack Phillips. Jack Phillips took the passengers' business over safety. If you get an ice warning, you deliver it to the bridge FIRST!!! Bruce Ismay requested the captain to speed the ship up. That you don't do when approaching ice.
@Streetcar1743 captain smith crashed Adriatic just 3yrs before titanic also republic and Coptic lifeboat drill cancelled morning of sinking most lifeboats no provisions on board . officers most did not know capacity of lifeboats set sail half full .officer Lowe at gunpoint ordered a 14yr old boy out of lifeboat and got in himself ismay had no dealings with running of ship all gatt,s of London Italian waiters held below to drown non survived kind regards
I'd never heard of the coal bunker fire, and was astonished to learn that it was burning before the ship ever left port. Wow. A commercial break in the video teases the question of whether the fire helped the ship sink faster, but that part wasn't included in this video.
This ship reallt didnt have to sink. If it didnt travel at such a high speed, and the staff would listen more to the warnings of iceberg. Man. Such a shame.
I love titanic documenteries. the best one i like is the one with James Cameron. YOu actually see inside the ship. Still many things are intact. (The turkish baths, the captains tub. the brass beds. Even in one of the rooms the clock is still on the fireplace.

So sad that the remains will soon be a stain at the bottom of the Atlantic. :(
Brea890 3 months ago
@Brea890 Well the ship is decomposing. But really not a stain on the bottom of the ocean. A ship that many people thought it was to be unsinkable.

I love how nature has the ability to recycle everything. Just give it enough time.

I absolutely agree, a fantastic documentary from the director himself.
To bad that the wreckage is fading away.

@kikyou4ever143 Likely the diving crew's voice relaying messages. The recording is not muted.
