Whoever's doing the backgrounds for this really deserves some recognition. Nailed DOTT's style dead-on. Sprites are easy enough to rework or imitate (although truly good comic animation is not), but I'm really impressed by the quality of the background art. Really hope this gets finished.

when making the music be sure to use OLD style so it dont sound like TO real. make some of that bit music in day of the tantacle so that people really enjoy the old style more :)

Fantastic! Maniac Mansion & Day of the Tentacle are two of my most favorite games of all time. I would pay good money to be able to play this on X-Box Live wih my two sons. I love that you're redoing Maniac Mansion in the graphical style of DoTT! Any chance you might attempt to do voices for it, like DoTT did? My friend and I have done a ton of voice acting and I have some contacts in both the game and voice acting industries...

This looks great, but it won't make the NES version obsolete. The NES version is the only 8-bit game I know of that can be fun even to those kids that have been raised on Call of Duty and are unable to take old games seriously.
