Offensively he's incredibly one dimensional. All the players I've listed can shoot, score, pass, and get to the free-throw line and knock them down. Rondo shoots 56% from the freethrow line. Passing is about more than just getting assists, it's about helping your teammates score (no not just giving them the ball when they're open, but leading towards the basket). And yes Nash is a better passer. Up until now Nash has obviously been the better player (Shooting, Passing, Leadership). But Rondo probably has more talent than Nash (Athletic freak, crazy on the boards, and very aggressive). So he might turn out to win an MVP one day.

Passing is about more than just getting assists, it's about helping your teammates score (no not just giving them the ball when they're open, but leading towards the basket). And yes Nash is a better passer. Up until now Nash has obviously been the better player (Shooting, Passing, Leadership). But Rondo probably has more talent than Nash (Athletic freak, crazy on the boards, and very aggressive). So he might turn out to win an MVP one day.
The Rose vs. Rondo rivalry will be epic.

People saying Rondo is 'average' - watch a celtics game or two. He runs the team contrary to what you may think, and creates a ridiculous amount of opportunities. Being a good player isn't all about numbers, Rondo does the little things and even though his shooting is weak he does many other things right. If anyone's numbers are padded, it's CP3's or nash's because they have the bal in their hands more than Rondo does. The celts play a diff. style of offense.

And he gets you a triple double every single game basically. Awesome rebounder, very strong, great hands like you mentioned. He can steal, so again EXTREMELY quick, awesome anticipation. And of course, he's played brilliantly even without some key players, dished out very, very well...

most of those assists i could of made all he did is kick out to ray allen and eddie house for 3s. for example look at the orlando series ever since the second game his assists are way down because house and allen stopped making shots so all his easy assist are gone, . and last i checked la publicly claimed they didnt gaurd rondo on purpose so they could help on pierce , so he did, he had one good game in game 6. he avg 10 4 and 5 in the finals, if thats tearing it up hes sadder than i thought,
