I think Dave sounded better on the Reunion Tour than he ever did back in the day. He NEVER had any range, we all know this. But he tried a lot harder than he used to. #1 He wasn't drunk. #2 He sang all the lyrics very closely to original albums. #3 You could tell he was very grateful to be back in the band, and somewhat humble, (for him). Growing my hair again and getting ready for another "Summer of Van Halen"!!! Rock on you fuckers!!!

I disagree that Sammy was the better singer. They have different styles, maybe Sam's STYLE of singing is what suits you more, but I think Dave is a fine singer, he brings a lot bluesy tones into his singing. Ed of course is not the guitar player he used to be, but we're talking 30yrs ago when the very first Van Halen album came out, human fingers age and loose their flexibility and Ed's fingers are no exception.

its sad how eddie had to get a bit of his tongue cliped off due to cancer. I read in a interview that its hard for him to talk and sing because when you have a bit of your tongue missing, it messes up your voice..totally.
i dont care. sure dave has a little bit of a tough time hitting the high notes these days, but you can tell hes making an effort. thats all i care about. if he misses a note, it wont bother me. all i know is im seeing the greatest band in the universe play their best songs they ever wrote..
pathetic ?......as they've announced a new studio album, we gonna see what happened in terms of creativity with that band.....
