just got mine 2012 FD 2 package. love da way it handles and rides well. a little underpower for overtaking but i can live wif it. it has a smaller tank, i find myself goin to gas station more frequent. a compact suv for daily commute + weekend fun for da price i cant complain. loving it:) wish they had telescoping steering column. i heard 2012 is da last yr for patriot, duno if its true a not.

I've been considering this model for my next purchase. Nice to know what it can do. I won't have such an off road need but still getting a look at its capabilities is a plus. I imagine at the beginning and 0:54 the Wrangler would have done a better job or at least make it look effortless. Then again the Wrangler is a classic Jeep.

Really great vid, shows off the pat's off road capability. The patriot gets too much undeserving shit. It has the best gas mileage so you can actually go to work and back without losing all your gas and it holds its own off road. I wouldn't buy this for just off roading but for a fuel efficient car that goes where it pleases it's very nice for a cheap price too!

If I'm not mistaken, it's an RRO lift (rocky road). They look like wrangler or regular jeep wheels (probably 15 or 16s, making the tire look bigger than it is (more rubber, less wheel). Bull Bar light kit for the bumper. Looks like they painted the bumpers and fenders black (maybe rhino liner type material?) if you go to jeeppatriot . com you will be able to research a lot of this stuff. Def. a good lookin patriot though. Hope I can get mine to look like that one day.
