My favorite series. They finally released the 2 part collection, and I've been enjoying it over the last two weeks. Though I got just as depressed at the ending as always, simply because it ends. Can't help but want to see/hear them in a happily reunited state.
Yeah, for those of us who still NEED the subtitles is there a translation for this somewhere? I would really like to tie up some of the loose ends...more so just want happened to Renton and Eureka and why they are not with their kids...and also Gekko state doesn't even get a mention in the end? Great series though just found it and finished it ( I know what like 5 years late) but so good, I was happy they ended up together or I would have seriously cried all night.

Japanese release of the series actually bandia showed one final image after they said The End with Renton, Eureka, Linck, Mater, Mourice, and Axel reunited, so it never ended in a cliff hanger, at least in japan.
no they werent on the damn moon, they were on Earth in the forest, if you read the letter it says, Renton writes something like after he saves Eureka he will be wandering around for a while, which is why the children and axel are waiting for them to come back (because renton said he will in the note), and then we see them in a forest somewhere on the earth wandering around, like he said in the letter. Hope this clears things up for some. Look it up.

there is no date set on it. it is legit, go wikipedia the series and look for the link at the bottom. Eventually you'll find some of the actual pictures of the magazine with E7 stuffs in it, seems like a semi legit movie is coming down the road.

Everyone says that they're not gonna make another season or movie or anything because it's been too long. Well here's the deal:
1) Have you ever actually tried to draw even a short anime sequence? It takes like a whole day! So imagine a whole new season.
2) It's called HYPE. If the creators can get enough people to want another season, more people will watch it, which equals more profit. So the longer they wait, the more people will anticipate the show and watch it when it first airs.
Here, here. And things look like it could happen in 08 (for the Japanese anyway) Bones seems to be gearing up for something, and they just renewed the Eureka 7 franchise. Here's hoping!

There already was a second season, and a third, and a fourth. In case u haven't noticed, new opening = new season. Episode 50 was the final episode. At the end of episode 50, Renton and Eureka both said "The End" meaning NO MORE EPISODES! Furthermore, this is a freaking AMV!
Mr. Sato and others have said that the Project is open for two more years, even the though the (4) series are done... and Bandai is Hiring More people on for the Project.
Which does however lightly suggest that something is in the Future for 'E7'.

Well the audio is like an alternate ending, I don't understand much, but from what can make out and from what others say, its basiclly, Renton try to get Eureka to come back with him, but Eureka tells him she can't, and apologizes, they split way, not sure if they promise to see each again or not, but i can tell for sure they say good bye. It a sad ending, far from how the anime ended.

nobody has confirmed wether or not there will be a second season or a movie. we might know once dai sato posts on the eureka seven offical bbs board this april. so keep yyour hopes up for a second season.

Well the audio is like an alternate ending, I don't understand much, but from what can make out and from what others say, its basiclly, Renton try to get Eureka to come back with him, but Eureka tells him she can't, and apologizes, they split way, not sure if they promise to see each again or not, but i can tell for sure they say good bye. It a sad ending, far from how the anime ended.

Ok, just so everyone knows. The Eureka Seven forums have finally gotten a rough translation of this episode. (technically their is alot more but they are trying to find the original script of it). Go to eurekaseven(dot)co(dot)nr to read the rough translation of Ep. 51. i just dont get the ending at all, i seen 2 different ones, one where it cuts when holland says more of a hero then his dad, the other where it shows the two of em standin in a forest holdin hands..(paused a few times just to make sure) yea they alive, but not wit their "kids" wtf was the director/producers point of this,... i just dont get it.

if you watched it on As the first time they showed it it was a shortened ending, the one when it just shows holand saying that renton is a bigger hero then his father. A week after they showed that one they re-aired it with the correct ending, where it goes to them in the forest.
