The rocketlauncer I understand, it isn't the easiest secret for a beginner. Super shotgun you should have had, it's in the room to the side in MAP02 as you go to get the red keycard. Chaingun..That is what you get off of the chaingunner guys.

Especially after you get past the first 2 waves of barrels, you appear in a spot where the Pain Elementals unleash hell on you by spitting the Lost Souls at you, and the barrels right there to further fucking piss you off!!

Still, I'm able to play through hard WADS like Alien Vendetta and Plutonia, and I STILL think that this level is pretty difficult, so it earns some of my credit.

In my opinion, mancubi aren't to be fucked around with, they'll mess you up big time if your not careful. They have the pontenial to be the toughest non-boss enemy.

that's right mancubi because of undependable behavior of their shoots and also because of incredible power they have if they approach you close up are amongst most dangerous enemies. Plus in older versions they had a bug which allowed their shots to go through walls. Personally I think that this monster typekilled me most of them all. More dangerous non boss is only arch vile.

Well the Baron is dangerous too but i would rate him lower than mancubus. Sure he has more HP, but his shots are of same damage as of mancubus while shooting only one projectile directly at you.

Baron is dangerous when facing him in melee range so he may claw you, but still i think that facing mancubus in same range is worse for then you will get hit by both of his projectiles which means instant death if you have 100%hp. Baron would have to claw you twice.

Mancubi have a pattern in their shots. Of the first two, one goes at u one goes to your right, then one at you and one to the left, and then both just a little wide.

When you have an invisability sphere, then the Mancubus is unpredictable.

They're very easy with the super shotgun. They have a high pain chance so you can use the chain gun also, but sinc ethe shotgun fires out a bunch of pellets, one shot has a high chance to make them be in pain. Usually I get in close and keep firing. 3 shots and dead. From far away 3 rockets does the trick too.

To me pretty much every monster is easy now.

However you cant expect that after your first move in the level suddenly the door behind you opens and mancubus will start firing at ya. @ Shartallon: I did in fact get through first time. Didn't even turn around, I know the sound of a mancubus and ran like hell, but the last barrels hurt me pretty bad (12hp left and no armor or something like that) I was too slow apparently, but you learn from your mistakes and restarts it to do it properly.
