I am so sorry for your loss. It's Terrible! People that drink and drive don't care about anybody. I have had 2 uncles and 3 friends killed by drunk drivers and in every case the drunk driver didn't get a scratch. One of the drunk drivers had just gotten out of jail the day before for drinking and driving. It's scares me too death to let my 16 yr old daughter drive. I wish I could place her in a plastic bubble and protect her for all her life. Thanks for the video
@rhettdontleaveme I also have a daughter that will be driving soon and it haunts me to think about the careless people out there. You can only show your children so much in regards to defensive driving, but none of it helps when it comes down to idiot people combining drugs/drinking and driving and then potentially crashing into other vehicles. I have also thought about the plastic bubble idea, LOL! Drunks hardly ever get injured because their bodies don't tense up and they take the impact well.
A lot of people on youtube want to watch car crashes on youtube, but what they don't even think of is how the person could of/did get killed.
I was watching a video of a wreck were a little girls parents died, and she thought they were sleeping. but I didn't see many comments about it.
Thankfully we have people who care about people, not the cars. like this youtube user who posted this video. She doesn't care about cars, she cares about people.
@TheNerfCollaberation Thank you very much for saying those nice words! I think of myself as a very caring person and when dealing with something like this, the cars shouldn't matter. At least that's what I think when I see videos similar to mine. Thank you for your support!
I can't understand why people are so ignorant and think that this won't happen to them. The drunk driver normally kills people and has no injuries themselves. I wish people would think before reacting or get a designated driver or call a cab before another life is so tragicly lost.
@lovemybones88 Unfortunately the statistics of someone calling a cab are 1 in 10. That leaves 9 drunk drivers still out there as potential deadly weapons. It's very sickening.
@donottakeitseriously Yea. When I got drunk I made sure I called a cab. I would get dropped off so I wouldn't drive. I once rode with a drunk driver and was shocked I made it home in one peice. It is really sad.
my friend was hit by a drunk driver. She lived but suffered a TBI or traumatic brain injury because of the idiot's stupidity to get behind the wheel of a vehicle while intoxicated. I'm so sorry for your loss and know how it feels to have someone you love injuried or in your case killed by a irresponsible person. My friend is rebuilding her life slowly but we all wish we could redo that day and never have it happen.
@bluelover1430 I am so sorry for your friend and wish her the best. One thing that helped me was to remember that each day is another opportunity to do something you never thought you could and make the most of it. What happened to the drunk driver (if you don't mind me asking)?
@getalife67 Thankfully many local authorities are making DWI offenders attend classes through their local morgue to witness first hand what drunk driving does to families. I think this should be done in addition to losing their license permanently and serving jail time.
