  • Pretty face definitely a distraction for an examiner.

  • what score did she get?

  • @MrSayrix 7 I have the original book.

  • Fluent she is, in terms of answering~! God bless her. :)

  • Hi .. I think you did very well.

Could you please inform me how did you prepare yourself for IELTS.

    Thank you

  • I think the guy was trying to ask her out :D "What will you be doing next weekend" "Ermm, nothing" "Alright then i will give a band 9 provided you go out with me next weekend" :DDDD

    No offense of course :D

  • shes definitely a 6

  • just forget IELTS pretty eyes ufffffffffff

  • 7.5

  • any one know Sawsan hassan personally ?

  • اhello

I'm proud of you Sawsan coz you r Syrian

    excellent

  • You are right. It changed in 2008. I would give her a 6.5 then. Not a band 7 perormance but she was a 7 in stage 2. In stages 2 and 3 she is more of a 6.5

  • بسم الله مشا الله عليها بلبل وواضح جدا

  • I'm a trained examiner. The interviewer is really close to the real thing.

As for her score, I'd just give her a 6. She is about a 7 in stage 1 but she has too many hesitation problems, repetition. She's about a 6-7 in stage 2. The crucial stage for her is stage 3 - this is where she reaches her limit, stumbles and makes a number of errors and is unable to use complex sentences competently - a 6. Realistically she's about 6.5 but there's no .5s in the speaking & she's more of a 6 than a 7.

  • @nblumer I got 5.5 in the speaking test. So, I cannot believe that there is no .5s. There are several examples of .5s in the DVD IELTS SCORE EXPLAINED which is promoted by IELTS website. Finally, I said 7 because it is one example of the official guide of the IELTS, where they show thre examples 5, 5.5 and 7, but I am not a trained examiner as you.

  • @nblumer I think you repeated your point :p

  • good n better than me

  • Anyone knowledgeable willing to guess how much she'd get? I reckon she'd receive a 7.5-8.5, I think she's really articulate, probably lives in the English speaking world since a young child.

  • @vachavc 7.0

  • @carlosalbertohm Probably you are right; even though her pronunciation and accent are quite clear and neutral, she makes some basic mistakes (grammar, vocabulary choice) that probably set back her final score a couple of points.
