Notre Dame des Victoires: did anyone of you notice that "Catch me if you can" filmed the "French" scene over there? Remarkably all the fake French cops correctly camouflaged their French Canadian accent.... (the reverse is harder)....

By the way: Ville de Quebec, not du Quebec... that would refer to a country or province. Very few cities in French carry the definite article. (Cairo and New Orleans are notable exceptions...)

great pics--my fiance and I are honeymooning in Quebec City come July---what was the name of the restaurant off the waterfall near the end of the video--that didnt look like Montmorency--thanks for the preview of a great time for us

thanks. That's Le Moulain de St. Laurent on L'ile d'Orleans, just off the only road that goes around the whole island. We stayed in the upper part of the old city in '96, and then in the lower the second time. IMO the lower was better, and we took the funiculaire up to the citadel, etc. It's become one of my fave places ever. cheaper than Europe, but same feel. The falls are a must-see.
