I have a pair of Cerwin Vega CLSC-12 on a Pioneer AX-497. I can only turn the volume 1/3 max, because things rattle off the walls when louder.

Soon I am putting it all outside for a day, and look forward to 2/3 volume and maybe even a bit higher ;-D

I've got the VE-8 models, and i run them with a Cambridge amp. That's a combo that sounds really godd, actually, the treble is not "sqreechy" and unpleasant, but clean and detailed.

It works like hell! I would reccomend this amp to people with CLSC-12. I think it`s the ideal amp for those speakers.

nice...i have these too. they are hooked up to a yamaha rx-797 amp at 100W RMS stereo and 20 year old wires lol...how does that carver amp work out for you?
