@Cjs67Burphi Yea me too, but idk in some ways it really gets the emotion across, even if it does sacrifice the sound. That just might be more important to me. You know the band Modest Mouse? there lead singer has bad voice but some of the best lyrics ever conceived by man
@Android480 Isaac Brock's voice is probably the biggest defining factor in Modest Mouse's music and it seems to be kind of a "you love it or you hate it" type of thing. I feel like disliking his voice would really take away from not only the music but also the lyrical impact.
@JRemedyy Technically speaking I think he has a pretty bad voice, but its so full of raw emotion and the lyrical genius to back it up that i not only can see past it, but I actually prefer it that way
@Android480 It looks like I misinterpreted what you meant by "bad voice." I gotta agree with you that, though i don't think he has a bad voice, if Brock's voice was perfect, Modest Mouse would be pretty lame.
