No way. I'm no iPhone fanboy but even I know that this phone is not better than the 3GS. The problem with this phone is this. It has a slow processor so the more stuff you download and the the more apps you have running then the slower it will become, the touch-screen is kinda spazzy, and it runs a much older version of Android. If you want a good Android phone, be ready to spend AT LEAST $100.

My black Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 has a problem. When I was watching a video on Youtube, the screen went asleep and then when I pressed the Home button to wake it up again, something went wrong and so I decided to turn off the phone but it was taking a while to turn off. So now my screen is black even though my phone is ON. So when I press the Home button, the screen just stays black and the light underneath the button just glows. What do I do and what's wrong?

@Roil1234 I was tossing up the same two phones (switched from iPhone)...if you get the chance, play around with them both to see which one you like more. I went with the Xperia mainly because of it's hardware and not the OS...8.1 MP camera (HD video once the update is released), 1Ghz Processor (Torch is on 600 something...but it's still pretty snappy), 4 inch screen (bigger/higher res than torch)...I liked the form factor/sliding of the torch but went with this instean...not disappointed

@skateflip977 it's not a front facing camera. it's a proximity sensor, and a light sensor. the proximity sensor turns the screen off when you've got the phone up to your face so that you don't accidentally end the call or whatever. i'm not entirely sure what the light sensor is specifically for, but i know that most other phones have them now.

@JasnoGT 2.1 is coming in an update, like the majority of android phones. When the phone was being put together, 2.1 was not out yet. Instead of rewriting everything before the phone is released, it is so much more efficient to release the phone as is and work on progromming the upgrade as an update than post-pone the releaes.

Update also enables HD video recording capability using X10's awesome 8.1mpx camera.

@all90killers x10 does not suck! phones runs very good with the latest firmware updates. Battery life is great for a 4 inch screen phone. Games like asphalt 5, nfs shift run extremely good on x10i in comparison with htc desire. ( i have them both ).
