  • Just so I understand, even after a customer says that they don't want to buy your bloated and overpriced add-on services, you're going to lie and tell them that it is against the law to not listen to your laundry list of garbage. Please educate me. What liability will the dealership be exposed to if a customer refuses to listen to your scam...err sales pitch? Do you think that this brand of nonsense might contribute to the negative stereotype of the bottom feeding car salesman and f&i scammer

    Not all customers will want to buy such products but many do. Dealerships have been sued by customers who became unable to make their car payments but had not been presented with their options to protect themselves against such misfortune at the time of their purchase.

    This is why a short presentation is advised for both parties concerned, but it is optional.
