i ended up going with super 44s. i had to explain to the guy at the muffler shop that i did not want a y pipe so her chopped it back like 8 inches and now im running true dual. its loud outside and relatively quiet inside. couldnt be happier. only cost me 370 in the end. bought 44s at amazon, tips at a local performance store, and installation was only 200 even
@kennyubassturd9 Just bought the kit for my 2000 v6- $400 for the setup- it's a Y pipe welded to two mufflers and then pipes that come out to the rear- the tips are welded on as part of the set.
i got a 99 too. still trying to figure out if i wanna go dual exhaust or just leave it and wait til i have money for the v8 swap. added a k & n and probably should have bought the exhaust first. u cant hear an air filter. lol

pricewise. about how much was the flowmaster system? and did you purchase muffler tips as well?
