No, the story isn't exactly better than Silent Hill 2. The story in SH4 may be more intricate, as it involves a 20 year plotline, but Silent Hill 2 is much more emotionally involving. Furthermore, Henry Townsend from SH4 is the dullest protagonist in the entire SH series (he "never shows his emotions," indeed).

And since when is this game available on Steam?

@Mazryonh oh I just run it through Steam so I can check what my mates are up to and if anyone wants to chat to me, I just edit it out.

And yeah, he does seem like a bit of a robot. When he just talks its fine it doesn't sound forced or stilted but when you expect a bit more from what he's saying, giving the situation he might currently in, then yeah it comes across as a bit flat.
