HP is the worst product you could choose to buy. Bought a laptop, was sucked into an extended warranty payment. There is no warranty in reality. Had a mother board replaced, then 3 screens replaced. So within the warranty period I have had 4 screens total. Finally the warranty expires and the screen I have is still f----d.

Don't buy HP, you will actually save money if you don't.
I'm thinking about buying a laptop just to play PC games, but based on alot of what i've seen on youtube, i'm a little apprehensive. If you play a game on a laptop that's fresh out of the box with nothing on it (movies, music, etc.) will it run perfectly with no delay, or is the delay just a part of the laptop experience?
@thinlizzybone Laptops in general are not the best for playing games. If you are interested in gaming then a high end desktop is what you want. Ideally you want one with a Core i5 or i7 processor, lots of ram, fast hard drive, and an expensive video card that has at least 1 GB of video memory.
@thinlizzybone well since this comment was posted 5 months ago IDK if it will do you any good but any laptop with atleast a 2.5GHz processor and 3GB RAM is good for gaming. I recommend the HP Pavilion DV6-3210us which has a 3.0GHz Proccessor and 4GB RAM and an HD Video Card. it is on sale right now on STAPLES(dot)COM for $499.98. I think it is a great buy especially for a gaming laptop......well if your still looking for a laptop.
@Ladel87 I haven't had any problems. There are two versions of this. The earlier version looked identical except it had the Core 2 Duo and Windows Vista. Mine has the Core i3 and Windows 7. I haven't had any problems with mine at all. Laptops in general generate heat due to lots of components crammed in a small space with little airflow. If you want to feel a very hot laptop just let a Macbook Pro sit on your lap! Not saying anything bad about Mac's because I have one, just saying!
@clemsonbloke Thanks, I just ordered one now. I was paranoid cos my last laptop was a Dell 1525 that I had fixed multiple times, but always overheated and shut itself off. Notoriously bad model :P
@attas45 Yeah this one works for me just fine but I'm not a big laptop guy. I'm more a desktop person. I got this because I needed one on the go at times. My desktop PC is Core i7 as well and everything is maxed out on it. My iMac same story, got the Core i7 2.93 ghz 27 inch.
@gobbo71 I don't know where you're hearing that. It is the same as any other laptop LCD screen except that it is LED backlit. It also has as glowing "HP" symbol on the back of the screen (front of laptop). It has an excellent bright display in my opinion. Much brighter than my older non LED backlit HP laptop.
@5forwards No it's actually quiet except for the DVD drive. For some reason the new HP DVD drives are noisy and vibrate a lot. I don't know why. Otherwise this is a great laptop, fast, quiet, etc. They come with a 7200 RPM hard drive and 4 GB of DDR3 Ram, Core i3 so not bad specs.

Is that slight whirring noise in the background from the laptop or the camera? More audiable around 3:40
