Greetings, I really like to thank you for your continued work to bring Kenpo to everyone. A question: I was taught at one point many years ago doing the" locked wing technique" after you left elbow, claw then apply the elbow break to try to shoot your arm downward with a slight sinking action using gravity of your weight towards the ground then bring it up for control. I hope I explained myself right so you understand. What do you think?
Simply amazing!!! It is slightly different from how I am learning it but close enough for it to help me greatly. I love how you do your forms.. Much respect /bow
I completely agree with the poster beneath me,deejin. I am impressed with the depth and specificity of knowledge u display, the purpose you ascribe to each form, and most especially the footwork/stance drills and exactness of technique and belt rank of each move.
Normally short three is so compact and tight it doesn't look elegant or nice, but you made it a fluid, graceful and yet powerful and functional form! I think it's because you emphasize stances and power, and precision over speed.
Awesome demonstration, great instruction - very smooth.
I'm in the process of learning long 3 at this point and I like the idea of practicing feet alone to ensure your base is solid, following with the hands to complete the form.
The detailed instruction and specification of belt rank of each self-defense technique is excellent.I've never seen this version of short 3 before, but I will be adding some of these details to the way I learned it. I was surprised to see brown belt techniques in this form.
Once again...excellent instruction. The footwork-only approach is a great idea. I'm going to apply that to everything.
The only problem is that bare room is great if you're singing, but a little hard to understand instruction with the echo in a couple parts, but I got it... Thanks again!
Nice execution at the end of the entire form. I also had never seen someone just do the foot work in a form before, and I thought that was pretty cool. Thanks, and I hope you keep posting kenpo.
This is a great review for me and an indispensable resource for me because I live in an area where there are no Kenpo practitioners that I know of. Thanks!
if you were half the karate master i was you would know how to actually do this
