This supercar is purely for the vain. There are better supercars outthere that drive better and are overall better cars. So many I can think off hand.

This car is beautiful but I don' t think it is THAT beautiful that warrant that much hoopla over its looks.

But of course, a supercar is all bout the heart and passion. The sound is amazing. When the heart says yes, who's to argue it being way over priced over the Maserati ( which is arguably more prestigious a brand) it is based on.

@HardheadzNL To each his own, I guess. To me the brand Alfa Romeo is closer to FIAT than it is to Ferrari (and it is). Driving in a Ferrari would be special enough for me, it is still Italian, still extremely sexy, it has achieved lots in sports which gives them credibility and the best brand in the business, i.e, a proper supercar brand. 8c is a lovely car, but its still a posh FIAT for an insane amount of cash.
