The best examples of this radical upgrade in building quality are Alfa, Citroen and Lancia.
Every car manufactures needs to improve its quality and performance. This applies to all, for example if BMW have been in the same level as before 10 years ago, there would be nobody that buy the cars. I think italian cars have suffered too much the problem of quality of past years, thats why the got this reputation. Today these are the best or rather one of the best in the world. Some manufactor like the germans are a little overstated. Thats my opinion.
@whitbyjet65 indeed now Lancia is pretty much anymore, it's all Fiat parts about. Fiat just uses the logo and history "feeling" to sells slightly different models of their cars (the Delta is strictly based on the Bravo)
Finally!Lancia and Maserati are the true blue bloods of the italian auto industry...without Lancia there was no Ferarri F1 program..or all those rally triumphs of the '80s.I'm sure that the next Delta will have better specs.Those nagging reporters are just frustrated by the fact that they are not able to BUY a Lancia Delta. :))
