@LeDisorde I watched the fight last night for the first time and the shot that sent Mosley down didn't even land cleanly. It glanced off of Shane's head and was thrown as a straight punch but landed more like a slapping shot. He came from an extremely destitute childhood in the Philippines and became a multiple-time world champ (rare for an Asian boxer). @LeDisorde I watched the fight last night for the first time and the shot that sent Mosley down didn't even land cleanly. It glanced off of Shane's head and was thrown as a straight punch but landed more like a slapping shot. Did anyone else notice that all Manny throws is a right jab or right hook, followed up with straight left? There was NOTHING else! Pacquaio, whether you think he is the best or not, comes in and fights hard against tough opponents. He came from an extremely destitute childhood in the Philippines and became a multiple-time world champ (rare for an Asian boxer). He is deeply religious (may not be a positive point for some) and humble.

My opinion: Pac hasnt fought anyone legit enough since JMM. Diaz who JMM also beat, Oscar being a zombie walking, hatton (floyd KO'd him? pac will too a duh) and now cotto... another hatton that'll maybe last a few more rounds then hatton. Oscar had accomplished amazing things during his time, but that night was just all wrong.

yeah but heres the difference... Pac fought JMM as a lightweight, he didnt make him jump a few weight classes to come see him and then still come in over the weight limit. and secondly it was a few years ago when JMM was in his prime, dont get me wrong he is still near his best but this was just too much too fast. and floyd knew it. im not a Pac fan. i cant wait to see Pac lose. but dont say something when its only half-ass true. Floyd would lose by decision in my opinion.

Fair enough, but why is it no one says anything about oscar coming into the fight against pac weighing less then pac? Is that fair, no, its the same situation as Floyd. Even JMM at his prime wasn't as good as Floyd now. Not boxing, counter punching, speed, and definitely not defense. It would be a close match with pac, I see it looking like castillo/floyd which castillo DID win the first time. But officially got beaten the second shot he had.

cant argue about De La Hoya, i mean when i saw him that night he was really showing his age and lack of proper training. it was an embarrasment to such a legend of the ring. Pac in my opinion has also being picking his recent fights. i mean oscar and hatton are prime examples. that´s why even though PBF + Pac have accomplished great things and will end up in the hall of fame, they arent the peoples champions in my eyes.

Chuckylee, you got this crap so wrong. Imsure lot of people hate PBF but still want to see him fight. He Macho Camacho are very similar in the way they talk. The differnece is that Macho would fight the best without exception. Never ducked any one. And pleasedont tell me Floyd never has: Cotto, Pac, Moseley, Margarito. He only fights the best? Why fight Henry Bruseles whne all he had to do was look next HB and ask Cotto to fight? They were in the same gym, trained byt the same trainer.

Floyd is the best boxer boxing right now...theres nobody out there thats seasoned enough to beat him..not cotto nor Pacman..the reason hes not fighting those fighters is cuz of Bob Arum their promoter..that guy still owes him millions from the gatti fight..hes been fucked once so hes not in a rush to be fucked again..Cotto has way too many flaws as well as pac..floyd came from 125 went up to 154...6 time world champ in 5 different weight classes!!! give him his credit! he is also a small WW!

Floyd called shane out @ 140 shane & his wife him he need a vacation to spend time with their family..U dont know shit about boxing...Pac man aint shit..he lost twice to Marquez (in reality)..then he turns around to face DLH who fought @ middle weight once and 154 who cut weight to make to 147 and came in the ring lighter then pac..he was drained..for all I know DLH couldve threw that fight! he never threw a punch!..then he fought club fighter hatton who already be KO..who look bad agains pauli!
