There's a lot of love here for Miller Anderson and Ian Hunter, but lets hear it for Fingers Lee! The guy was fantastic in his own right. I found a copy of gonna buy me a dog/i can't drive (different version to this) on Fontana in a charity shop and was instantly hooked, just got Bossy Boss off ebay, and need friendly undertaker and that deadly rare 'midnight race' now...I'd love to see footage of those!
You caught that too, eh? First thing I noticed. The 'eyes' give Ian H Patterson away also. (tho' you hardly ever see 'em) A European version of Jerry Lee Lewis with young Chuck Berry's voice, where can you go wrong? Looks like Miller's a fine guitarist!
He wasn't called Ian Hunter till he joined Mott in '69. Excellent clip though, thanks for posting. Notice the bowed head and bent knees - still in evidence today!
This is an absolute gem, I'm a big IH fan and staggered to see that footage of this part of his career exists, please please please post more if you have any

That is about all that is known to exist. Before Mott there were only a few sides cut at all.
