The most simple way to do that jump when hooked on the ring is to use your directional keys to get some speed and when u are ready to jump relase the left arrow key BEFORE u press space to jump !!! that way she will jump opposite to the wall on the platform, DO NOT KEEP PRESSED THE LEFT ARROW KEY when u jump, that way u will get in the water!

The Jump could be done.

I started to run with Shift -> jump in the direction of the ring -> Q at the ring -> dont run left and right -> after the first left directly use space to jump ...for me it worked :)

The jump works - I made it after trying it for at least 10 times...When I was on the wall, I went on the lowest point possible near the water, then I went left and right for a couple of times, then at the highest left point possible, at turning back to the right, I jumped backwards with down arrow and it worked!

I grabbed onto the grapple from the edge, So when i was on the wall i was at the lowest point from the water. Then i just started swinging about ten times until i got as high as i can, pressed the down arrow and jumped. AND I GOT IT!

I'm swinging (same length as at this vid) pressing the space and i always end up in the water..

I also tried to first hit the ctrl-button and than space but that also didn't work..

@SilkeWay Hey, no problem! Well, that jump was kinda tricky for me as well so I know how frustrating that part is for you and.. I'm sure tons of other people too.

What you have to do is when you are swinging and are as close to the left as possible - hit the space button along with the ARROW in the direction you want to jump (in this case back from the wall aka try the down arrow). It can be very tricky, so you may not be able to do this with 1st try. Let me know how it goes & good luck! :)

This is the easiest of all Tomb Raiders, here i got stuck because of overjumping that part of water, that was the hardest part of the game, but again i played it on the pc so...its more dificult to me, everything else in the game is more logic then in any of lara's adventure..the hardest was tomb raider 1 on playstation cause i was 12 and i got stuck at the cistern level, and lets say the tr 4 was extremly hard to pass the city of the dead, this game is a peace of cake in comparison with these 2

actually it's not, if you are familiar with TR series...if you think this game is unbeatable, you should have tried some older Core Design games, which were truly mind boggling and confusing - this one is a walk in a park for me, and puzzles are not overly complicated
