  • Sounds like an old Atari 2600 to me.

  • Probably electrical noise from your mom cooking dinner upstairs.

  • Well, it doesn't make sense for it to be an OTHR radar signal as it is not running continuously. Probably just a station sending data bursts that happens to be beating with the AM carrier.

  • Sounds like a fart to me.

  • Not HAARP. Its not a weapon. Radar is not a weapon. Stop drinking the kool-aid people.

  • ever heard what was called "the woodpecker signal"???

  • oh no!!! my brain has been liquidized!

  • Run of the mill radar signals.

  • Sounds like an Obama fart.

  • In this time, HAARP transmiter have a more frequency transmiting. This signal is probably "rusian haarp". HAARP transmiting signal have a specific another signal

    Regards

  • @s52ab 9.795, hearing it right now at 17:44 UTC

  • look i understand beyond the conspirators or people that say its reaserch lets just thumbs up to the fact that really have no fucking vlue what this insane sound is for god sakes noone on here really cant say what it is.... non the less

sounds like a bunch of cool shit.

  • That sounds more like a warble jammer than HAARP

  • Lol. Sounds like an old game with lasers.

  • @Juggylocko Yeah sounds like a 1980s star wars game or shit lol

  • im going to upload a video with these interference

  • what is that sound? its a radar or a oth?

  • I heard a reference to Infowars (*subliminal message*) xD

Were you just listening to the radio as usual and this started over the top of it? Where do you live?

  • Interesting and I have heard that sound before and never knew what it was. Golly!

  • its sinister. How do you know its the HAARP?

  • Because its the only thing that is strong enough, to bleed into a frequency like that!

  • wow

  • I hear it quite often and it seems to change frequency with the MUF (Maximum Usable Frequency)

  • Hey yourpartofevil, howcome you said:This happened right after Hurricane IKE. This isn't good, at all. what do you mean about that?

  • I've heard that!

Just a bog standard radio. I have also heard wierd things on FM radio like a strange pulse riught up at 110 FM or something like that

  • I have been hearing this sound for several years all across the 26 & 27 mhz band. I'm sure that most operators all across the ham radio & CB spectrum has heard this sound at some point and time. I have heard some call it " The Russian Woodpecker", some say radar system, I can assure you one thing..its a very high powered RF transmission by the way it splatters all across the bands & can be copied by stations all over the world. Exactly what is its purpose ? Good question.

  • I heard this kind of "blur" signal on the european CB-band ch 15, ch 17 and very strong on ch 36. it was so strong on ch 36 that I could receive it without an antenna. It reached S1 without antenna. It wasn't from my house.

  • It is actually over the horizon radar. No big deal.

  • Also -

A google search for the following:

    Aurora research radars HF

will result and show some of the other types of HF 'signals' from Aurora research RADARs that can create these kinds of signals.

  • RADAR is a WEApoNN

    .-.-.- ....- --... .- .-

  • SO are eyeballs then ...

    Next.

  • RADAR is a weapon only if youre in the direct line of sight of the transmitter

  • Uhhh... no. RADAR can be used to detect rainfall and other weather patterns, and it can also be used for navigation. In this case it is just used to research the upper atmosphere and its respective phenomena. We really don't need nutty conspiracy people...

  • @YourPartofEVIL i tried to translate the morse of one code one time...didn't mae any sense.

  • Odds are these are "image responses" as seen in the cheaper consumer grade SW receivers.

I can't recall hear anything like this on the normal 'Alex Jones' SW frequencies using an ICOM 756 PROII receiver (a REALLY good receiver).

These signals can be due other than HAARP too, such as some of the other OTH (over the horizon) threat detection and Aurora research RADARS.

  • Could this be some data transmission service? I don't think its PLC, but maybe a broken Digital Subscriber Line, which spreads out the signal to the airwaves...

  • I've always wondered what the heck that was. I hear it too on my Grundig G6 at 9.0 MHz occasionally.
