this game was a huge deal when it came out. like a beefed up version of cap america and the avengers. sik last boss!

the only difference Capt. America and Spider-Man was that while both had numerical hit point systems, SM's hit point system was also a timer (like Gauntlet and Crime Fighters), in addition, SM's special moves were desperation moves because they took away hit points from the player while CA's specials didn't cost the player hit points

Nice stuff. I've never seen this game before. I would always play the Sega Genesis beat-em-ups. I'm sorry but that yelping sound the enemies make is hilarious. And like the comment you left me, I think Spidey's sprite seems kinda hunchback-like as well.

Yeah, in this game the sprites are stretched out vertically which just makes them look wierd.. I guess it was one of their earlier games.
