This is a hard decision. If the cub is an orphan, I'd take him/her with me to be safe. But then again, the mother may spring out of a nearby bush and kill me.

Bears at that age will not do any more than scratch you. Even then, it will fight back only if you try to touch it or pick it up. Learn their language and black bears will not hurt you.

She was waiting at the edge of the woods to EAT anyone that stopped and tried to bearnap her cub. He's probably had girls toss food out the window at him so now he looks for a meal from cars, which makes him not afraid of people, which will probably get him killed. Do NOT feed the cute little bears!!
