@kevfilms2x2 Yes, Suzaku is the better pilot, I agree. But if I remember correctly, Gurren S.E.I.T.E.N. was more advanced than Lancelot Albion. I think Lloyd and Cecile said that Albion had been ready for use for some time even before S.E.I.T.E.N. was taken back, but Suzaku hadn't been using it because he still had Lancelot Conquista.
But arent't u forgetting that Kallen likes to Exagerate(sorry for the bad spelling)I mean she has Exagerated countless times,underestimating the lancelots power and capabilites.And besides hasn't the Lancelot beaten the Guren many many times through out the series?Also during the battle,The lancelot Albion was beating Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. @kevfilms2x2 here is the simple explanation. god. they are both 9th generation. however, the guren had better specs than the Lancelot, which should make it better than the Lancelot but because they are both 9th,that doesn't mean Lancelot is completely outdone. add with the geass curse, i don't see why they would not be equal match. it's not just the machine. it's the pilot also.

Lancelot is upgraded to conquista. kallen gets guren mk II which is equal to conquista. kallen gets guren flight enabled which destroys Lancelot conquista. guren gets captured and upgraded to guren S.E.I.T.E.N. same time, suzaku gets Lancelot albion phew.

The fight was more or less a distraction, so that Lelouch had enough time to do what he did, it didn't really matter if either of them won, who was the better pilot, or who had the better specs on their knightmares.
Now, total hypothetical situation here, but let's say Kallen and Suzaku fought without any distractions around them, who would win?

@kevfilms2x2 Yes, Suzaku is the better pilot, I agree. But if I remember correctly, Gurren S.E.I.T.E.N. was more advanced than Lancelot Albion. I think Lloyd and Cecile said that Albion had been ready for use for some time even before S.E.I.T.E.N. was taken back, but Suzaku hadn't been using it because he still had Lancelot Conquista.

@kevfilms2x2 here is the simple explanation. god. they are both 9th generation. however, the guren had better specs than the Lancelot, which should make it better than the Lancelot but because they are both 9th,that doesn't mean Lancelot is completely outdone. add with the geass curse, i don't see why they would not be equal match. it's not just the machine. it's the pilot also.

Lancelot is upgraded to conquista. kallen gets guren mk II which is equal to conquista. kallen gets guren flight enabled which destroys Lancelot conquista. guren gets captured and upgraded to guren S.E.I.T.E.N. same time, suzaku gets Lancelot albion phew.

@kevfilms2x2 thanks to you, now I'm rewatching the whole damn series. ok. episode 11 1season,guren mkii is deployed for the first time after kallen's glasglow got destroyed. in that episode, i say Lancelot had advantage due to him having more weapons at his disposal and because kallen was first out in the battle,which might have worn the machine out a bit. the guren only had the radiant wave and top of that, lancelot came out at the end of the battle. so i say even in the first.
