Wonderful! I don't even know which version I like most, - this one or the latest! This one has such tenderness in it, breath of youth I would say... Yet the latest is full of energy, it's filled with confidence in every sound, in everything you do with your guitar.. It's mature and impeccable! Just LOVE both of them!!!:)
I've been practising that suite a year ago, and as said below the way you played it is really successfully. Most versions out there are either too fast to show skill or too slow to make it more ... atmosfairic . But you don't just play some sheets of music, you seem to have understood the whole point and soul behind allemande and play it the way it is supposed to be played. Very nice !
@SoylentMilk Thank you very much dear friend! I am really glad you
noticed that. Some of my colleagues critisize my rendition but what
they show is quite opposite to my playing. But I don't like their way of
playing this piece and I don't accept it. You may ask where you could watch their playing. I say - nowhere. Those critics usually more speak than play on public.
the only version of this that i've seen on youtube that uses ornaments and a sensible speed. Very good playing, and good ornaments you must understand the baroque period very well.
Somehow I am slow to this video. This is a great rendition! I really love it. The pace at which you played is almost what it is meant to be. Excellent work.
Thank you my friend! I'm going to put some of my new videos very soon. I have watched your ALLEMANDE just now and I can say you are very good guitarist! I'll check the others when have time. Best regards from Andrey!
I play the Bream version and he is a great lutenist as you probably know. So in my opinion this is the best one. Bream is the most authoritative arranger of Lute music by Bach.
I have the German edition 'Lautenmusik, Edmund Wensiecki, 1983', which is very close to the source. Bream may prefer that way but I think the original sounds better. Still, Baroque music was not performed in it's day as strictly as today, so yours is also OK.
Maybe on the Lute this part sounds better on low notes, but the guitar on my taste sounds better and more logical as Bream did. However, this is not the point to be argued. The most important thing is musicality, feelings and soul. Don't you think so?

Good pace and mood. A part of the second half is shifted an octave, unlike in the script.
