I did a 1 year diploma at QANTM in Brisbane Australia in 2002. Still stuck in architectural 3D visualisation 8 years later... oh well, still beats working at maccas or something :)

Dude, dont assume my skills are anything to do with my college. If that were the case everyone in my 2002 class would be working in the 3D industry now, but i bet less then 10% are. The college kick started my learning... thats all. By the time i completed the course i was still below most realistic ENTRY level junior artist positions (even tho i was in the top 2 or 3 of my class). Your college will not make you a good 3D artist... only years of practice and some good old fashion talent.

ta :) in max there is an animation controller section. for the camera and its target i used a "Noise" controller for the X Y and Z movements. you animate your camera doing its path then the noise is overlayed over the top of that to what ever strength and frequency you like. unfortunately when your dealing with a target camera you have to keep in mind how far the target is from the camera. a noise strength of 1 meter on the target when its 10m away might be fine but when its only 1m away...

A show reel pretty much means a movie of your work. I reckon you could almost call any video of a persons collection of works as a Show reel. The word "reel" itself probably has its routes with old movie "reels" of film

Yeah, should do. cpu will affect your render speed, ram and videocard affect your viewport performance. the more complex your model the worse it will be for you.

great modelling great texture work and to add to the other comments I like your camera work also which is something alot of people miss. Would change the track though and possible try and be a bit less reapetative i.e either a shorter reel on the stuff you have or add more content. keep up the good work!
