  • Thanks so much for the video! Great quality :)

  • good job man.

  • its so much easier to hear it from a person than reading it in the book xD

  • You saved a lot of people, including myself lol

  • Thanks, great work..

  • THANKS MAN. Seriously, you saved my ass. Our crazy teacher expects us to remember all these steps when she showed us out to do it ONCE. I didnt even get the notes how to do it. Thank you!

  • Thank You!!!!!!! my book didn't tell me how to do this at All. :)

    God bless!

  • Thank you SO SO much!

    Helps a lot!

  • Thank you very much

  • Do you know how to make it show the reliability after you get the linear regression?

  • You have to turn this feature on. Here's how:

-Hit "2nd" then "0" to get to the Catalog

    -Find DiagnosticOn and hit enter

-Hit enter again (it will say "Done")

Run the regression again (as shown in this vid), it will tell you what the correlation (r) is and what the coefficient of determination (R squared)

  • thanks a lot...this made it so simple...

  • TY so much, very clear.

  • THAANKSS SOOOO MUCH!!!!!

  • thank you so much this saved my life with my physics homework

  • Ty could not remember how to do his for Ap Calc =p life saver!

  • A wonderful gift you've statistics students like me! Thank you!

I do have a question: after I typed in Y1 and pressed enter to get the calculation, this came up instead of the linear regression numbers...

    ERR: INVALID

    1:Quit

    2:Goto

...what does this mean? And how do I fix it?

    Thank you kindly!

  • it means u have done something wrong when u put ur data in..

  • You are the man! I just used this for my chem lab, so glad I'm not the only nerd in the world, thanks sooo much!!!

  • Thanks alot!

  • No problem.

  • after we find the equation, how can we give inputs(x) and calculatate (y)?

  • Once you have the equation stored in Y1, you can give X inputs in several ways. One way is to enter it just like function notation (e.g., Y1(3) would calculate the Y value for X=3). Another way is to go to the graph and do CALC Value, then type in 3 at the X = prompt. If you do it that way, you have to make sure the graph window includes X=3.
