My God he's slow. I count 6, maybe 7 guys who should've tackled him, and would've if he'd been playing in the SEC. Against Bama, LSU, FLA - that's a 5 yard loss.
Eddie and Ron Dayne - The two of the most overrated RBs in college football history. Big Boys against the nobodies. Nobodies against the Big Boys.
He would' have provided quality depth at defensive end in the SEC, though.
Yes that may have bean the most loaded team OSU has ever had. T. Glenn, George, Pace, Springs, Winfield, they were loaded on both sides of the ball. Those were the good old days when character meant nothing and Cooper had no problem hanging 60 on a lesser team. To bad he couldnt win the big one. He could recruit though i'm surprised he did not coach again.
OSU counts 7 national championships but it's not the proper way to count them, The NCAA does not recognize any championships awarded by the media, ala 2003 USC and alabamas.
Yes a guy who won the Heisman Trophy in addition to several other awards during his college career and made it to the Pro Bowl 4 times and All Pro 3 times in the NFL even though he only played like 8 years is overrated. Makes sense.
Jason White was the best Player in the Nation during the 03' season. As for Ohio State, You guys are a joke. Troy Smith and Eddie George didn't deserve the Hesiman.
Thumbs up + RT if you miss #eddie #george #thatsatd

@2xTiger Ohio State was playing Illinois, one of the worst teams in Division I FBS (then I-A) football.
UsonianAC 7 months ago
@2xTiger I disagree. Unlike Ron Dayne, Eddie George backed us his hype in the NFL fairly well in going to 4 pro bowls.
TideatMileHigh 6 months ago
@2xTiger Surely someone is providing quality depth to your end for thinking that.

ITS SO FUNNY HOW EVERYONE (including OU fans) SAY WE ARE OVERRATED, ASK BOISE STATE HOW OVERRATED OKLAHOMA IS!!!!!!!
buckeyeman8 3 years ago
Yeah but we have 7 national championships compared to boise's 0 and we have also have 3 more than Ohio State.

Ohio State has 7 national championships. Where exactly are you getting that the Buckeyes have only 4?

@SoonerMan918 osu has 7 smart one
63turboman 1 year ago
Talking about Ohio State being overrated - what about OU? I see these two schools have a couple of things in common:
1. They both have 7 national championships
2. They both have been embarrassed in their last 2 bowl games. (Let's not forget other Oklahoma embarrassments this decade in bowl games)
What do you think is more embarrassing, losing to LSU by 14, or getting destroyed by West Virginia?

He shouldnt have won the Heisman over Tommie Frazier.
SoonerMan918 3 years ago
Yeah right.
1995 season:
1927 yards rushing, 24 rushing TD's
534 yards receiving, 2 receiving TD's
12 100 yard rushing games (only game without 100 was against BC in the 1st game when he had 99)
3 200 yard games (vs. Wash, ND, Illinois)
314 yards rushing vs. Illinois - all time OSU record
Won every major award including Heisman, Walter Camp, Maxwell, and Doak Walker.
Consensus 1st team All-American
