I bought a pair of nike t90's k leather. I live in australia and would clean them in the shower etc, didn't use any leather gets to treat them, didn't put them in hot water when i got them and they legit fell apart and the leather is f'd up. ahahaha this will help a lot >.<

F50 synthetic are the easiest to clean! all you need to do is wash it with warm water, wipe them, then dry them.

i have a pair of tiempo legend iv's, bought about 4~5 months ago. i saw this video about 3 months after using the cleats, and so i immediately put them in hot water and started to treat it with care (with newspaper, hot water) but i didnt use the glove wash or leather balsam. i tried dipping the cleats in water for about 3 times now, but the leather doesnt seem to stretch such as the worn f50's shown in this video. is there something wrong with my boot-caring? (and i have a wide foot.)

I have just purchased some AdiPowers in soft ground.. And so I will be wearing them in muddy conditions. I absolutely adore the comfort and performance and paid decent money for them. I'm looking for the best way in which to clean them. I generally stick boots under the tap and scrub them with a brush, then wipe the upper down and stuff them with paper. What should I do with them? To get best life out of them. Thanks!

@JonGuyification Don't use anything that's going to scuff that Predator element. Aside from that, it sounds like you're doing a pretty good job. The only other thing I would recommend is special attention to those seams around the outsole. If you don't clean cleanser or water out of those seams, the epoxy there will wear out very quickly. And don't use water that's too hot, you can melt the epoxy that way too.

@GolStoreFamily the seams will still tear eventually.  I found that if used in small amounts very precisely, superglue will fix it right up.

@soccermex21 Not really, no. Once a boot is broken in, it will stay that way. You can still clean them up with water and some kind of detergent, but see the second part for that.

i own the mercurial superfly 2's, and I was wondering should I do the warm water, bath tub instructions and if so how. I.e should I remove the sock liner and anything else. Will it have any negative effects because underneath the sock liner is a paper like material covering the base of the boot. What are the tips and instructions for that, cause im keen for the flywire to regrip to my feet.

@liftbear Honestly, the warm water trick isn't going to do too much to the flywire, it won't soften the material or anything like that, it just makes it wet, it also won't rust it or anything like that so it's no sweat. Removing the sockliner isn't necessary for the warm water deal, it's actually kind of frowned upon, the only reason being because you'll be molding it to your foot, but not to the actual sizing and feel of the shoe.
