You're welcome. I think that Luciferian is part of the LHP, but it is not Satanism, even though there are some parallels to be found - such as those who feel that Satan and Lucifer are the same being.
I don't really accept it in that way. Lucifer has a pre-christian history as a god of Roman beliefs. It was the Christians who assumed that they are one in the same, hence the constant misinterpretation, both in Satanism and in christianity..
Regardless what you call him/her/it, there is a being or energy in which everything began. Its all about spiritual evolution. If being a Christian make you feel at home then great. If you feel that there is more to life then Christianity then look else where. There is no right and wrong in this world. Every action has a neutral property. We are the ones who attach positive or negative energy to it. Thats why something that is bad for some is good for others. Its only perception.

[slashdudeman]For some this might be the case. However, for me, it is a process of the search of knowledge and the discovery of answers. I am in no cult or group, nor will I ever be. Satanism is a philosophy that is evolving on a daily basis because as a philosophy it is based on our needs and desires in life to maximize our own potential.
I've seen all three parts. In some points I would have a bit different views on that topic but those are just small details and in general I find your division to be quite accurate. Great work :).

There are plenty of leaps of faith, because deception supplied by the senses and other information gather methods prevent true knowing. Truth according to one's flawed-perception can-not be trusted; therefore belief in Satan is as valid, as belief in most other items.
satanists do not believe in the judeo-christian satan. Satanists use satan's definition of adversary. Satanists follow the golden rule. They are generally nice people. Satanism is basically atheism with some advice/rules.

Lilith would be the closest choice I think. I find many Wiccans to be pretty hypocritical on this point. In their frenzy to please Xians & avoid the label of Satanism, they deny Satan categorically, while honoring His Consort, Lilith. The Prince of Darkness as Satan is not, as they assert, a Xian invention. He is Hebrew, exactly as Lilith is.
I someitmes think that Satanism simply means free thinking/ being on the outside of the Collective; or simply radical shmanism; but how then to work with other Satanists when they all believe in different things? Or, do you just say: 'this is the tirual - interpret it as you will'?

I worship none, but I would rather worship a serpent than a fool. I am not an athiest, though. I do believe in afterlife and magick, but that all gods are too flawed to follow.
I do, however, greatly respect satanism and the figures of satan and lucifer.

This defining of what is meant by evil, is known as establishing an,agreed upon definition. Most of what people do express as the Christian-Perspective is often, by wrote without understanding of those words used to express it. Both Satanism and Luciferianism recognize the individual-as-god, but there are distinct differences in the accessing of Self-Godhood. Satanism is restricted to the Earth and this life as the only existence whereas in the Luciferian system, this world is merely a prison preventing the Self-God from expanding.

the demiurge isn't a battle. it's a title for the god of the old testament. he is the creator of the physical world and all things existing in it. the demiurge is a gnostic concept and is almost universally seen in a negative light, either being seen as purely evil or simply ignorant of his true nature and of the divine reality that is above him (the Pleroma).
lucifer is sometimes revered as a sort of anti-demiurge.
or at least that's what i've come to understand.

My personal of point of view is that Satan doesnt limit Himself in putting everything into "good" or "bad". Not only because it may vary depending on us, besides that is so human. If you are nice to Satan, if you please Him everyday, He will look after you and do "good" things in your life. And viceversa. We Satanists have our free will to do what we want, we are free... That is our Father Satan´s wish. And if someone makes us angry... Watch out for Our wrath!!!

In a previous post it was stated that Satan is human nature. But in this post Satan is described as a father and hence as a being distinct from oneself. So, is Satan a father distinct from you or is Satan some sort of force that you believe is inherent within human nature?
Secondly, why should anyone believe that Satanism is true? What is the evidence? I ask this as an honest seeker of truth...as you also claimed to be.

There are plenty of leaps of faith, because deception supplied by the senses and other information gather methods prevent true knowing. Truth according to one's flawed-perception can-not be trusted; therefore belief in Satan is as valid, as belief in most other items.

satanists do not believe in the judeo-christian satan. Satanists use satan's definition of adversary. Satanists follow the golden rule. They are generally nice people. Satanism is basically atheism with some advice/rules.

Lilith would be the closest choice I think. I find many Wiccans to be pretty hypocritical on this point. In their frenzy to please Xians & avoid the label of Satanism, they deny Satan categorically, while honoring His Consort, Lilith. The Prince of Darkness as Satan is not, as they assert, a Xian invention. He is Hebrew, exactly as Lilith is.
