@MannyMahmud Chris hedges is very eloquent. Other commentators such as Norman Finkelstein and Noam Chomsky may be more relentless in tracking down relevant facts, but Hedges has a way of conveying the true tragedy of the situation on a gut level. Maybe that's because he was a war correspondent for decades and saw the results with his own eyes. He also recognized the Religious Right in America as a proto fascist phenomenon before anyone I know. Unfortunately, he's still religious.

If you want to know more about the history of Palestine, I would suggest Wikipedia for "Nakba", "1920 Palestine Riots", "British Mandate", "Yesh Din". Also, browse the website of "Palestine Remembered" and that of "True Torah Jews Against Zionism".
You'll find that Zionism has promoted ethnic cleansing from its beginning with Theodore Hertzl.
