Most devices get less expensive the longer they're on the market because newer, better ones replace them. this video is from 3 years ago when it was new.
Hi i bought this machine and i dont think i would really recomend this machine{i'm so sorry i dont want to cause problems}Its just i did get to make 1 progect and trying to replace the bobbin was hell but the only time i got to sew when the fabric when i opened the box was in the sewing machine
mine will sew, but it stops a lot, sounds like its breaking, you can't replace the bobbin easy, the design of it allows the thread to get caught a lot. but its the only one I have so I'll still use it.
i think if you want a good one though I think you save up and get a better made one.
its not the tool for easily pissed off. if you already have it good luck track the thread very carefully.
You're better off getting one of the REAL Singer machines! One that can do a zigzag stitch and buttonholes. I've heard horror stories about the Pixie and all the other knockoffs that size.
the older machines are better but you can't replace parts. I tried to have one fixed, that would have cost me more then the machine cost in its good years. its kinda sad to think singer is going down in quality, they've been around for generations. its like great grandmother old. who ever is in charge of quality needs to be fired and replaced with someone who can do the job that singer used to live up to.
I got this cute machine 2 christmases ago. I am not a sewer but wanted to learn. well....yesterday I finally got it out and tried to sew . Had a lot of fun for 5 minutes then all the thread started bunching and now I can't even get the bobbin rethreaded again.
@TTTtirsa put your head out the window, look down, make sure no ones there and take you machine and throw it out,lol i hope you live in a high rise lol
My sister got this for Christmas, I tried to help her with it and finally gave up. It's a piece of crap. Bobbin won't thread, it gets all jammed up, etc. I have a nice Brother machine and I know how to sew, so I know what I'm doing...this thing is awful and my poor little sister is so dissapointed.
Man, I can't figure out how to get the bottom thread through. but besides that the one I got from walmart works ok. It goes through my thick faux fur beautifully
i got that sewing machine but i got it at wal-mart and it get stopping ad messing up!!!!so i bought the brother brand sewing machine and it wroks really well :)
I love it. I didn't get mine from HSN. But I love it. It not only sews threw most fabrics, I also use it for paper. I will make a card that has stiching on it, or I will sew on the ribbon. Its amazing. and you can change the bobbin. I have 5 or 6 threads that i use most often and i change them all the time. This is a great product and would recommend it to anyone.
man, i've been reading all these negative comments about this machine, and finally i came across yours and it gave me hope because i just got mine for christmas. thank you. =)
I think satisfaction depends on expectations. This is not going to do the same volume or type of sewing work as a full-sized machine. But it should be fine for light mending, hemming, etc. Not everyone has need for a larger or more expensive sewing machine.
Mine sucks! IKt won't sew through single ply fabric, you can't replace the bobbin, it sucks- what a waste of time and money- it was a great big disappointment!
HEY HSN!!!..i bought mine at my local fred meyers for 34 bucks..why in the world would i want to pay double lol
