@arokameer So? BSB wrote the song but did not sing it. A lot of bands write songs for other people, most bands do (eg Coldplay). Some bands write there own songs (eg McFly). I do know I study A-Level Music like this. Depends on what works best for them, and if they are friends with another band. In Westlife's defence they are fantastic, most of their songs give comfort to some people.

good song. i do agree that Where we are and This Is Us both have similar formats. i think Westlife should go back to their normal format of music. this new style doesnt suit them to well. none of the songs on the album made it to the top ten.

1) Does it matter if the BSB or Westlife can sing better? I don't think they so. They are both amazing and have great vocals.

2) Does it matter how the music industry works? Westlife is the group that sings the song. I just say deal.

it was written by aj and ryan tedder but it is unclear if it was intended for the backstreet boys - this is us album or aj's solo album which ryan tedder co wrote quite a lot of the tracks for.

I know that it hasnt made the track listing for either. so ended up on the table for leona pitched by ryan but simon cowell decided it sounded better for a band instead so gave it to westlife

Why does it always get competitive when Westlife collaborate or cover songs? If AJ thought BSB should have had this song, then he wouldn't have give it to Westlife. No matter who wrote it, it's now a Westlife song.

And whether people like it is a matter of opinion only so why not just accept that everyone has different opinions?
