@FTMG61 I completely agree. The story started out fine, but the plot became practically non-existent after only a few hours. Grandia 2 was way better.

Grandia was never meant to change like final fantasy, it shouldve stayed in the same world as the first one, maybe in the future or past but same world for each game like in Suikoden. The other option wouldve been to continue following the stories of children with hopes of becoming adventurers or something. Lets say you are a young orphan who is growing up in the slums, dreaming everyday and stuff, you know cliche but still, naive but with spunk like Justin, that was fun.

Yeah i think the same, but i loved 2 and 3 too, but not Xtreme, that was awful, the only thing i liked it was the musisc and battles.

Im a huge Grandia Fan but, when I got to play Grandia 2 a couple years ago, it just felt incomplete and I never cared about the characters like in the first one. Pretty much the same has happened with other Jrpgs that got watered down once it became so expensive to create them in 3D, or the developer teams got disbanded.

Lol This Game Sucked Pretty Hard, The Only Challenge Was Patience For Those All Important Credits, The OST and The Batlle System Are Whats Great About The Game, Play Grandia 1 Then Play 2, You Be Liek "This What The Fuck Happened Here", Then Go On To 3 and You'll Be Like " I HAZ KNIFE, WOOP DE FCKIN WOOP"

The game was so simple that it was great just wish there was more to it like more mini games etc. and more places to go to before the final boss also the final boss needs to shut up and have 2 more forms =)

With no doubt one of the most outstanding RPG games for PS2. Nice plot, wonderful hypercoloured graphic...maybe too easy to play but a MUST HAVE.

they really suck... they just don't know good games and sucky games... but of course, this isn't an entirely awesome game, but i'd rate it as a very great game... ish good... very fun fiddling around with the skills and books and stuff like that
