bonamassa lacks some of the cred of "authentic" rockers, and has stepped into the arena of richie blackmore and jimmy page and cannot stand that tall.
Great track cant wait for the album to come out. I s'pose it is all about opinion but Bonamassa is going to be , if he isn't already, a true guitar legend. Apparently they're touring next year (hopefully in the UK) - I just hope I'll be able to get a ticket when they do cos it's gonna get sold out.
Fixierider seems to miss the point by a country mile. Glenn Hughes is, in part, responsible for 3 albums by one of those 'great bands of the early seventies' and is one of a very small handful of vocalists from that era who can still truly deliver.
The band is loose and somewhat out of tune. The guitar solo sounds somewhat like Eric Johnson. It may be good compared with the junk produced these days, but it doesn't stand up to the great bands of the late sixties and early seventies.
They did a version of "Mistreated" right after this, and I have to say it seems like time has stood still for Hughes. Glenn Hughes seems to always pick amazing guitarists to do songs with such as Tony Iommi, Pat Thrall, Gary Moore, Bonamassa...etc.
been listenin to glenn for the past 35 years, he just gets better and better, and Joe well what can u say about this guy FANTASTIC, seen him live in Morecambe

This Bonamassa guy = "OVER RATED" .He plays every cliche in the book. UnOriginal as they come. I just don't get it (his fame). I am very disappointed in this lame riff outing( I was actually looking forward to it). Oh well , let down once again.
Bonamassa over-rated? Have you actually heard him or seen him live? Under-rated would be much more accurate; this guy is amazing. Cliches? Guess what; it's all been done, and every guitarist out there cops someone elses vibe from time to time; it's their personal interpretation that makes it original and great, Bonamassa is great. Slash plays with a lot of cliches too, but you know what? He is also great. With all the crap out there, having somebody worthy of guitar hero status is refreshing,

Glenn Rules! Cool song too. I like this song because it gives the best part of Glenn's singing. BTW can you hear the key?

some people cannot appreciate a soulful blues player . these are people who listen to slipknot or yngwie malmsteen and call it original
