  • wouw, spcellign tis rallee portnant hre. sthanaqks 4 sherrinq

  • Dude he know you were there and just didn't care? Why didn't he charge you?

  • @ericjamesharlow The rut was over, It is fun to stay in the bush after all the hunters are gone it gives me a chance to film moose ( again after the rut ) we are the only outfitter that hunts this area so the 25 or so bulls we take each year is nothing. There about 6-8 moose per square mile in this part of Alaska but getting in there can be hell. Thanks Dean

  • @greathunts1 I'm sorry, perhaps I didn't phrase my question properly. My question is, The moose had to have known you were there. How come he didn't charge you. How did he not know you were a threat? So just because the rut was over they are no longer aggressive at all? Would you be able to pet them? I just can't imagine something so big being so friendly.

  • @ericjamesharlow again the rut was over and it took me over 5 hours to get this close these moose don't have much contact with people and it is not every day I can get this close to the bulls with out a hunter so to spend time and get this close it is as big or even bigger of a rush . What you don't see is at all times I'm behind a tree, Cows will kick your but quicker then a bull so i try not screw with the cows. Some times we all do dumb things! yes this was one but what fun

  • wow so animated

  • @jared4341 Book a hunt with me in the rut and then say it is animated most of are bulls are shot at 15 to 40 yards

  • @jared4341 clearly you are dumb....

  • nice bull but your right hell be much heavyer next year , but then again i would prolly dropped the hamer on him for the meat as well just so i dont have to go to the store still spring or early summer at least.

  • @nitroexpress700 we take 25 to 30 moose hunters each year and kill 25 to 30 dulls so I get all the moose meat I need but your wright if I needed the meat I would have pulled the hammer Thanks,

  • @greathunts1 you guys running a outfitter operation? im looking at moving to b.c. and doing the same thing work here in ont is not very good and vary between besides i never did like ont i love it out west in bc/alberta iv spent some time in n.w.t its defintly nice up there to but the bush is a bit differnt than what im used to..

kinda flat and feature less even when it has trees mind you thats not ever where but a soild portion of it.

  • @nitroexpress700 Are camp is in Alaska

  • why next year? did you not have a tag this year?

  • @sh9683 season was over and we had 26 hunters got 24 bulls But he would have made a nice for a first time hunter, a great bull later if the Bears or wolfs don't get him Thanks,

  • @sh9683 season was over

  • @greathunts1 thats a good reason!

  • dude....!!! thats crazy!! i couldn't get close enouph to mine this season with the crossbow!! :( stuck with a cralf tag now

  • @RyanT951 Were we hunt in Alaska this would be a nice Bow kill, but I had all gun hunters this year. And season was closed and not a good bull for gun hunters bigger out there. Thanks,
