I think perhaps someone needs to explain the nature of a "REMIX" to people. It's a new spin on an existing song. It doesn't disrespect the original in any way. If anything it's the second best musical tribute imaginable (second only to a cover) to the original artist. Declaring the original's staying power and wide appeal. If you don't like the remixes, listen to the ORIGINALS you knobs.

i love johnny cash songs, but i dont like this. when you actually listen to the original, then you can actually listen to the lyrics, and think about what hes really saying. he didnt just write this to be famous and to have a hit song, he wrote it to show people what he really feels. and doing this jst takes all the meaning ot of the song. but uve done a good job

@jdhul55 The Keb' Mo' version has altered lyrics tho. He didn't like the murder line, "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die". So he changed it to, "they say I shot a man in Reno, but that was just a lie". The arrangement is awesome but I hate how the changed the whole maening of the song.

Who would know and want to honor Johnny more than his family. These are great old songs and now they are great new songs again.
