I'm reading this page, and the haters are in force, but I say to you that I was at a parlament/funcadelic concert were he played the intermission, and the music from his keyboards was so rich and think that you could almost see the colors of the music. I was sold on his sound at 14 years old.

This whole "Bernie Worrell is a genius" meme is a joke. No, he's not a genius. Bernie Worrell was a guy who noodled around on the synthesizer, played the occasional groovy riff, and otherwise played mostly unremarkable stuff. This "solo" is one of those unremarkable moments. A real snoozer.
