How hard will DeVore really fight against taxes. He quit his leadership position in the Assembly when he didn't like what was going on. Instead of fighting to change things from a position of strength, he left the field.

Part of the story. I also challenged the Republican leader and tried to remove him -- which happened shortly after Prop. 1A was defeated. I also campaigned up and down the state to defeat 2009's Prop. 1A, the extension of the largest tax increase at the state level in U.S. history -- hardly the actions of someone who rolled over.

@michaelnick61 It was more complicated than that. Devore was minority whip. The person in that position is basically responsible for securing votes for the minority leader. If he hadn't stepped down, he would have had to campaign for votes in favor of the budget deal within the assembly.

Any Politician who ignores the FACT that the 10 Amendment LIMITS the Scope and Power of the Commerce Clause and the term Necessary and Proper must be REMOVED from power.

Living Constitution,Proponents are TRAITORS to Individual Liberty, Limited Gov't and We, the FREE People!

If Politicians OBEYED the Constitution instead of interpreting it then Govt could NOT print fiat currency or redistribute production. Then the crony politicians could not be purchased by special interest groups.
