  • This is a GOD SEND Im playing King Arthur for my schools production of Camelot and I am so frustrated with this song and this has helped me tremendously!

  • I love camelot!

  • thank God for this , i have to practice the play at my school :)

  • He had his magnificent stage presence and voice until the very end! Bravo!

  • Oh WOW that's the original Dumbledore?! that's amazing!

  • Such incredibly beautiful portamento, go Dumbledore!

  • Ah yes I remember it well...

  • I love Richard Harris' version of this number!!!

  • Love! Simply Love!

  • Thank you sir for posting this scene in Camelot. Thought I could never see this anymore. I used to sing this particular song in my late teenage years and even had an LP record after watching the movie. At that era this was my favorite movie.

  • :,-)

  • If Richard Harris were alive and I were to meet him, I would ask him to sing me a song from Camelot. I wouldn't care if he were old and his voice crackly, I would just want to here him, Richard Harris, sing me a song from this beautiful movie.

  • once again the great richard harris

  • DUMBLEDORE!!!

sorry had to do it. I freaking love Richard Harris in his role as Arthur, never seen a guy more fit for the role as King of Camelot

  • This is a pretty love song--full of sadness I think that is yet to come in the movie. But, he (the king) does not know it. I just love this song. Thanks for this post.

  • love it if only it was that easy

  • I sat in the near empty Mayfair theater in Asbury Park EVERY SUNDAY afternoon in 1967 for the matinee, spellbound as a 12 year old kid, watching the screen and forming my idea about what made great musicals! I never got over this movie and wondering how Camelot would have turned out had Lance and Jenny NOT given in to their baser instincts. How hard would that have been, really? No restraint! But then, my childhood would have never been infused with this wonderful movie!

  • Quint and Nola from the Guiding Light enjoyed this musical. This is how I heard about this musical. See you can learn something from a soap opera. I do love this song..

  • "How to handle a woman? Mock me well, and I will tell you sir" (:

  • I loved this film - I saw it around 1970 and fell in love with the idea of Camelot. Loved Franco Nero in the film too - those piercing blue eyes - completely melted my heart. But I also felt sorry for Harris, I have the video of this film - so I may go and watch it again!!!!

  • how true what richard is talking about , how to handle a woman. do us men really know

  • As much as this is true about women it is true about men. We often forget that.

  • I have *always* hated the words to this song. It's excessively sexist.

  • @Jude1955

How is it sexist? It's true, isn't it?

  • @miltonsfound It's sexist because it talks about women. Seriously, do people like Jude spend their days thinking about things to complain about?

  • This is one of my favorite scenes from Camelot.

  • and a how do handle a man?

  • @jbLover9811 Steak and a blow job.

  • @jbLover9811 feed him. he'lll be content for the rest of the . . .minute.

  • Saw it with my first girl in '67. Have album (a Taiwan copy in orange ) but no Turntable. Wish someone would post the whole movie as a whole or in parts

  • Nicely done, Richard!

  • love this always did. you either love richard harris or you don't.

  • Ha 0 dislikes!
